Refund Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
1. Summary
Subscription fees are paid in advance and are not refunded for time already elapsed. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If we bill you in error, we correct it.
2. Cancelling a monthly plan
Cancel at any time from your billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you are not charged again. We do not pro-rate a partial month.
3. Cancelling an annual plan
Annual plans are paid for the full year in advance. Cancelling stops the renewal at the end of the term. We do not refund the remainder of an annual term, except where section 5 applies or where the law requires it.
If an annual plan is no longer the right size for you, contact us before renewal. Moving between plans is usually a better outcome than a cancellation.
4. The waitlist offer
Teams that join the Opsynth Desk waitlist by December 31, 2026 get their first month of the Team plan free, for up to 10 users. A free month is not a paid period, so there is nothing to refund for it. Billing starts at month two. If you cancel during the free month you are not charged at all. The same applies to a first month made free by the earlier DESKLAUNCH launch code.
5. When we do refund
We will refund you in the following cases:
- Billing error. You were charged the wrong amount, charged twice, or charged after cancelling. We refund the difference in full.
- Duplicate subscription. Your organization ended up with more than one subscription covering the same users. We refund the overlap.
- Failure on our side. If Opsynth Desk is unavailable for a prolonged period within a billing cycle and we cannot restore it, contact us and we will agree a credit or a refund for the affected time.
- Where the law requires it. Nothing in this policy limits a statutory right to a refund in your jurisdiction.
6. What we do not refund
- Time already elapsed on an active subscription.
- Periods during which you had access but chose not to use the Service.
- Charges on an account suspended or terminated for breach of theTerms of Service.
- Fees charged by a third party, for example a Microsoft 365 licence, which are not paid to us.
7. Site plans and invoicing
Site plans are invoiced on Net 30 terms rather than charged to a card. Cancellation, credits and refunds for a Site plan follow the agreement signed with it. Where that agreement is silent, this policy applies.
8. Pilots
A pilot is agreed in writing before it starts, including what it costs, how long it runs, and what happens at the end of it. Those terms take precedence over this policy for the duration of the pilot.
9. How to request a refund
Email support@opsynth.co with the account name and what happened. We aim to respond within three business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and typically take five to ten business days to appear, depending on your bank.
If you think a charge is wrong, contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback suspends the account while it is investigated, and a billing error is faster for both of us to fix directly.
10. Taxes
Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Where tax was charged on a refunded amount, the tax is refunded with it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in effect when you were charged is the one that governs that charge.
